Day 1: Arrive Lhasa
Arrive the Lhasa Airport or train station, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by your tour guide and driver. You can rest and acclimatize for the rest of the afternoon. |

Day 2: Lhasa
You will be met by your guide and driver at your hotel in the morning, full day excursion as follows: Potala Palace, Sera Monastery ,Tibet Museum.
Details: Your first excursion is a visit to Lhasa's famous Potala Palace. Once the Dalai Lama's main residence and seat of the Tibetan government, this impressive palace complex plays an integral role in Tibetan history and is a must-see for any traveler to Tibet, Sera monastery is famous for its rose-filled gardens and a particular style of theological debate that can only be seen here. The last stop of the day is the Tibet Museum. A showcase of Tibetan culture, the exhibitions provide a fascinating glimpse into Tibetan history, religion, folk customs and art. |

Day 3: Lhasa
You will be met by your guide and driver at your hotel in the morning, full day excursion to Nam-tso Lake.
Detail: Today you'll make the trip out to Nam-tso Lake, some 245 km (152 mi) from Lhasa. Also known as 'Heavenly Lake', Nam-tso is the highest salt water lake in the world situated at an elevation of 4,718 m (15,479 ft) above sea level. After taking in the astonishing scenery and snow-capped mountains around Nam-tso Lake, you'll head back to Lhasa. On the way back there may also be the chance to stop and visit a Tibetan family. |

Day 4: Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse
You will be met by your guide and driver at your hotel in the morning, full day remote excursion to Shigatse. As you reach the summit of the Kamba-la Pass you will be treated to incredible views of Yamdrok-tso Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet. Stretching for 72 km (45 mi), stunning Lake Yamdrok-tso has long been a destination for Tibetan pilgrims, and holy properties are assigned to its clear, turquoise waters.In Gyantse you will overlook the Gyantse Dzong fortress and Pelkor Chode, the region's main monastery. A fusion of Han, Tibetan and Nepali architecture, Pelkor Chode is famed for its superb Kumbum, a 9-tiered structure containing 108 Buddhist chapels. Also known as '10,000 Buddha Pagoda', on wandering its halls and corridors you will soon discover why, with literally thousands of Buddhas adorning images and murals inside. Later you will head to Shigatse where the rest of the day will be at your leisure to enjoy as you wish. |

Day 5: Shigatse-Lhasa
Today you will visit Tashilunpo Monastery, the traditional home of the Panchen Lama. Built in 1447, this large walled monastery escaped extensive damage during the Cultural Revolution era and today is home to massive collections of jewels, gold Buddha statues, colorful thangkas and shrines to the each of the Panchen Lamas. Back on the road in the afternoon, you will travel along the picturesque Yarlong Tsangpo River on the Nepal Friendship Highway bound for Lhasa, arriving in the afternoon. |
